Thank you to Women United, a philanthropic group that is a part of United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes. The members of Women United made a donation to our Community Participation program in Lindsay. We will be using the generous donation to buy much-needed new chairs.
Women United regularly throughout the year. Members nominate programs or agencies to be considered for a donation at each meeting, and then hold a vote to decide which of the nominated programs or agencies will receive funds collected from that meeting. All money collected is donated to the organization chosen by members of Women United.
