Funding Brokerage
Managing finances is a needed task but stressful for many people who may not have enough time to devote to this task. Our Funding Brokerage program, which is a part of our Fee for Service, can help you manage your finances whether you have money from Passport funding, Special Services at Home, or family funds.
Funding Brokerage is managed in compliance with the policies and legal requirements of the funding organization. We keep track of your funds and let you know what will or will not be covered by your funding organization. We take on this task so that your family is never directly audited, and we keep all your paperwork to present to the funding organization as needed.
Funding Brokerage covers the following:
- Administering Individualized Funding Contracts (ex. Special Services at Home, Passport funding).
- Coordinating expense claims and tracking invoices/receipts.
- Preparing government remittances and filings.
- Helping families with general accounting guidelines and basic requirements.
A 10% administrative fee is charged for the Funding Brokerage service.
Funding Brokerage Process:
- A Funding Brokerage agreement is signed.
- You can consult with our Brokerage staff to see if your expense will be covered by your funding organization.
- You will then submit your expense claims and receipts to Community Living Trent Highlands for reimbursement.
- For those receiving this service, you can request that Community Living Trent Highlands make a purchase or payment on your behalf from your funding.
