We are hiring for the position of Temporary Assistant Support Worker at our Community Homes Program in Lindsay. Must apply by March 17th 2026 at 4:30pm. NOTICE OF JOB VACANCY DATE: March 10, 2026 APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 17, 2026, by 4:30pm POSITION TITLE: Assistant Support Worker NOC-44101 POSITION SUMMARY: Temporary Position (up to 1 year) Community Homes Program Lindsay 75 hours Biweekly QUALIFICATIONS: * A Two-Year College Diploma in DSW or equivalent human services field * Two years full-time equivalent experience in the field of development services or an equivalent human services field * Demonstrated experience in planning and facilitating group programs and activities. * Demonstrated knowledge of person-centered planning, QAM indicators, behavioural support plans, rights, and community connections * Demonstrated ability to take on a leadership role. * Demonstrated ability to work independently. * Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making competencies. * Proof of ongoing professional learning. * Demonstrated ability in the attainment of person supported outcomes. * Current and Valid Emergency First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certifications are required. * Valid Class G Driver’s License and Acceptable Driver’s Abstract. * Access to a reliable vehicle and proof of valid vehicle insurance including passenger coverage. * Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening. * Relevant experience with intellectual disabilities. * Computer Literacy (Microsoft office, e-mail, internet).
