POSITION TITLE:

Residential Coordinator

NOC- 44101

POSITION SUMMARY:

Temporary Coordinator Position (1 year)

Peterborough.

75 hours biweekly

QUALIFICATIONS:

* A 2-year College Diploma or Degree in Human Services, DSW preferred

* 2 years full-time equivalent experience in the Developmental Services or related human services field

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with self-directed / self-managed / self-scheduled workday based on the needs of the people supported and / or as Agency needs arise.

* Demonstrated knowledge of community resources for connecting individuals to services within their community including health and medical, recreation / leisure, skill building and volunteer opportunities.

* Demonstrated knowledge of person-centered planning, QAM indicators, behavioural support needs, rights, and community connecting

* Demonstrated knowledge and ability in program development, facilitation of group discussions and activities on a variety of topics relating to skills of independence

* Demonstrated ability in administration and financial skills.

* Demonstrated communication, organization and time management, conflict resolution, and advocacy skills

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an overall team

* Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making competencies.

* Proof of ongoing professional learning.

* Demonstrated ability in the attainment of person supported outcomes.

* Current and Valid Emergency First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certifications are required.

* Valid Class G Driver’s License and Acceptable Driver’s Abstract.

* Access to a reliable vehicle and proof of valid vehicle insurance including passenger coverage.

* Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.

* Relevant experience with intellectual disabilities.

* Computer Literacy (Microsoft office, e-mail, internet).

SALARY:

Hourly Wage Range – Step 1: $29.55 – Step 6: $33.02

Annual Salary Range – $57,622.50 – $ 64,389.00
